I recently participated in a Moleskine project, creating a piece using their sketchbook to showcase at their first cafe, MOLESKINE Café | Nodi, in Tai Kwun.
I've been using the Italian notebook brand Moleskine for many years, and I was thrilled to participate alongside over 30 other artists and have my work displayed in the shop.
Although time was a bit tight, I used a rather complex drawing method to complete this hydrangea piece ????. I love using layering techniques because it creates so many unpredictable and interesting effects! While the process was complex, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'd like to create more similar works next year!

May and June are hydrangea season. I've heard that Meigetsuin Temple in Japan is covered in beautiful hydrangeas during this time. Although I've never been there, the photos look absolutely gorgeous.
The white and blue hydrangeas, in particular, give me a feeling that is both magnificent and elegant.

I really like this "fiery" cat. Watching it linger in the grass, I wonder where it's going next?
I enjoy drawing plants. I meticulously depict the foreground, emphasizing the shapes of the leaves and stems, while the background uses different shades of green layered together to depict the intricate texture of the grass.
