Inspired by my little airport's "Sycamore Street"This poetically elegant street is hidden in Tai Kok Tsui, Hong Kong. Its English name is Sycamore Street. "Sycamore" originally means the fig tree. If you imagine it as a love story, it's like a tree quietly growing, yet never bearing fruit...
Taking this thought further, we might ask: what exactly does "bearing fruit" mean? Or perhaps, looking at it from another angle — why can't one find joy in their own company? Why can't self-love be defined as a form of love?
Learning to dance and sing alone can even become a kind of self-care, a way to reclaim those little fragments of happiness.
When persistence turns into holding on, love ultimately returns to you.So, how about going on a date with yourself today?
Humm a tune, twirl around, and say to yourself:
"You are truly the most adorable miracle I've ever seen!"《冬yeah之詩》
靈感來自 my little airport 的《詩歌舞街》

《Inner Monsters - Boundary and Release》
A tiny paper boat carries Shiball, drifting along the long river of the mind. It symbolizes how many people struggle to navigate their inner emotions—easily tipped over by the currents, as fragile as paper. Shiball’s inner feelings—joy, anger, sorrow, pleasure, anxiety, and little mischievous thoughts—swirl constantly above his head like restless little monsters, fueling endless self-doubt and internal conflict.
Caught between tangled thoughts, he places a small heart into the river—reminding itself that he has already tried so hard. In return, the soul’s reflection will surely echo your kindness toward yourself. And so, it gently lets go.

- West Kowloon Merry Balloon Event (2025 Dec) Postcard
- Collab with Make It Loud Ltd. and Hong Kong Tourism BoardKai Tak: The artwork is inspired by Laputa: Castle in the Sky, symbolizing Kai Tak's former role as an airport. At the very top is the Kai Tak Sports Park. Below it are Airside, Diamond Hill, and a red-and-green traditional Chinese gate with a plaque reading 'Kai Tak.' Further down are Sung Wong Toi Monument and the Kowloon Walled City.
A distinctive feature of this piece is that it incorporates all seven colors of the rainbow — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Beyond being visually striking, this colorful palette carries a deeper meaning: symbolizing a bright and vibrant future for Hong Kong, just like a rainbow bringing renewal and brilliance.

Andrew Tsang (DOOP)
An illustrator and graphic designer based in Toronto, Canada, with many years of industry experience. His illustration style focuses primarily on cute and kawaii subjects, presenting realistic things through personification and slight abstraction. Simple lines paired with bright, vibrant colors make his work even more appealing. Recently, he has also started experimenting with an American comic style, still using vivid colors to turn real people into cartoon characters.
He is currently a member of the Hong Kong Society of Illustrator and has collaborated with various organizations of all sizes, including the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Toronto Post Office, MakeItLoud Ltd., F.S Food Ltd., Toronto Cantonese Classroom, Home Dishes, Avalon Victoria, and others. His work has also been published in media such as Littlezine. He has previously participated and presented his artwork in different art and cultural creative exhibitions such as HK Illustrations and Creative Show 2025/2026, and hopes to continue contributing to the art and culture field. He is currently running his own cute, Japanese-style Shiba Inu IP — IG: @iloveshiball.
My IP is called Shiball. Just as the name suggests, it's a Shiba Inu toy, but because of the chubby size, it's stuck inside a capsule toy. The daily life involves lazily sipping on bubble tea and gazillion of clumsy moves. If you want a good laugh, check out my IG (@iloveshiball) to see how even walking can turn into a hilarious fail. There are comics, illustrations, and even animations!
This IP has also been turned into merchandise, such as postcards, T-shirts, stickers, plush toys, pet toys and pet goods. Currently, the product line often incorporates elements of Hong Kong local culture, aiming to spread cuteness and smiles! They’re always ready to help you convey messages of love to your friends and family!❤️❤️
I also do Chinese commercial copywriting, lyrics and novel writing. Feel free to check out my other IG (@jenku.official) if you are interested in American comic artwork.
