The theme of this series is “Escape.” It consists of eight acrylic paintings depicting Hong Kong landscapes, created during the pandemic as part of a collection inspired by Hong Kong’s hiking scenery.

I created six Hong Kong landscape–themed phone case designs for FASE, a mobile accessory brand under Fortress, featuring scenes such as Lion Rock, Lantau Peak, Nam Sang Wai, Tai O and Kwu Tung Reservoir, all illustrated entirely by hand.

Earlier, to mark the 30th anniversary of the YMCA of Hong Kong’s service for ethnic minorities, I was delighted to be invited as one of the participating artists. Inspired by the Christian values and spirit of inclusion upheld by the YMCA, I created my largest watercolor piece to date — FAITH, in A2 size — which was also featured in a charity auction to support the cause.

For the German brand Moji, I transformed a designer chair into a canvas, painting the serene mangrove scenery of Tai O directly onto its surface. By weaving art into daily life, the piece redefines home décor—turning an ordinary chair into a living expression of creativity and place.

Continuing the creation of “The Tiny Lanacape” at 3cm, the artist paints the landscapes around the world on paper measuring about 2cm into a mini book this time. She believes that travel can nourish life.
