Project Background: My hometown, Meizhou, is renowned as the "Hometown of Football". My father's generation had its own football team, which influenced me from a young age with the football atmosphere. This series is a comprehensive upgrade of the old works from 2014, aiming to pay tribute to the hometown football culture through design in the year of the World Cup.

I am HE Shiwei (Steven), who graduated from the Animation and Digital Art programme, Department of Digital Art and Creative Industries, Lingnan University, and am currently a Master’s student in Curating and Art History in the same department.
I have loved traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting since childhood, and held solo calligraphy and painting exhibitions at my secondary school during my junior and senior high school years. I later studied abroad in Canada for my senior high school education, where I was exposed to modern Western and European art as well as digital art.
My works mainly integrate traditional calligraphy and painting with modern techniques. During my studies at Lingnan University, I designed cultural and creative products for various university departments and student organizations on multiple occasions, and have been featured by various media including Hong Kong Economic Journal.
In 2025, I participated in the "Urban Canvas" community beautification project in Sham Shui Po. In the same year, I was awarded the honor of "Top 10 Outstanding International Students in Hong Kong" in recognition of my contributions to Hong Kong’s society in the literary and artistic fields.
In January 2026, I held my digital art exhibition “Infinite Digital Art” at the Hakka Museum of China in my hometown Meizhou.
