闊葉林Rara Lin

Flora Lin, Illustrator, member of Hong Kong Society of Illustrators, member of Hong Kong Mural Association.

Graduated from the School of Communication, Hong Kong Baptist University. Learned art under professor at China Academy of Art.

Her works are mostly watercolors and oil paintings, characterized by a delicate, eerie, and fantastical style.

Flora is passionate about nature; insects, marine life, and amphibians are among her sources of inspiration. She also enjoys creating humanoid spirits with animalistic features. She believes that all things possess a spirit, that plants, animals, and even inanimate objects have souls and thoughts. Her works often depict or imagine the daily lives of animals. The themes are often related to parallel universe ,wormhole, and even afterlife.

Her work has been featured in commercial commissions and exhibitions, and has won international awards.
